A Verse to Live by

"No trial has come to you but what is human. God is faithful and will not let you be tried beyond your strength;
but with the trial he will also
provide a way out, so that you may be able to bear it."
1 Cor 10:13

Peace

Peace to all on this Pentecost Sunday!

Saw sweet Sr. Pat today at mass, which further filled and and uplifted an already rejoicing spirit. Little did Ron and I know back in 1999 how integral Sr. Pat and St. Brendan Church would become in our lives -- in my life.

I read some scripture from Romans this morning that's not associated with Pentecost Sunday, but it really spoke to my heart and so I share.

Romans 12:12-21 "Rejoice in hope, endure in affliction, persevere in prayer ..."  (there's more, so look it up and read on:-)

God bless you, today, Laura. I love the artwork here, and I loved your poetry a few days back. . . thanks for sharing your journey. Isn't it wonderful to have your heart and soul refreshed in the different streams of the Body of Christ? So grateful you have all the relationships that share and bless your life.
Love you,
Lesa

Hello, Laura. Thank you so much for your blog. It's inspiring, and real, and it's a wonderful pleasure to be a part of your world and hear about your journey. Sedona is such a great joy as well that God has blessed you with.

Continually keeping you in our prayers.

Love, Rick and Rene

Awesome verses! You are a testimony of what you read! Love you!

Isaiah 55:10-11
“The rain and snow come down from the heavens
and stay on the ground to water the earth.
They cause the grain to grow,
producing seed for the farmer
and bread for the hungry.
11 It is the same with my word.
I send it out, and it always produces fruit.
It will accomplish all I want it to,
and it will prosper everywhere I send it.
