All is good.
Will write more later.
Headed off to la-la land to catch some zzzzzzzzzzzs
First, my thanks to Cindy for being my stenographer for that first post. I didn't have available hands to write a message, so she took dictation on my behalf. Love ya, girl!
I have the corner office this time, as I did on my first visit, which gives me views of Olentangy River Road (looking north toward Third and Fifth avenues) as well as of Downtown, which never gets old.
The new infusion continues to be no problem, praise God. Ninety percent of women have no trouble with this dose dense infusion of plant-based Taxol and its solvent -- however there is that 10 percent chance ... I am blessed, again, to have no reaction. I did get a little dozy in the beginning because they shot a high dose of Benadryl into my system. Closed my eyes for about 20 minutes then felt those effects wearing off -- now awake and able to write and do some office work.
Cindy had a retreat to attend and left at 1:45, so my brother John is picking me up today. I think with this longer infusion time (3 hours plus all the gettin' ready stuff) that it makes good sense to have my "taker" and "picker-upper" be two different shuttle services. :)
Feeling really positive now that I am almost through this first infusion of Taxol. And, just think, only three more after today!
- 10:08 p.m.: Left the Spielman Center w/ John at 4:30.
- 1:10 a.m.: The aftermath of this 5th treatment continues to be uneventful. I am, however, finding sleep to be elusive!

Love and hugs,

Good news. I hope things went well afterwards too.
5 is a good number when you think of the number 1. Hope your planning a relaxing weekend - Remember to eat dessert first! Always enjoy checking in and seeing your positive posts and ever cheerful thoughts. It is always great to hear that others enjoy a steak cooked correctly! Medium Rare! Saw that earlier and just getting around to commenting now. Take care of you LJ!
Thanks, BB. Yep, total chill out this weekend. I like your philosophy about dessert first! As for the steak, depending on the cut, it can almost be mooing and still be perfect! Thanks for the support -- I'm determined that there's no other way to get through this except through positivity! Take care, my friend!
