What a week. Worked late every night and at home. And, instead of my usual equanimity, I got frazzled and was abrupt with a colleague and friend. Argh. Yet, with the stress came the good: an excellent therapeutic arm massage and getting to see my favorite volunteer, Kay, at the Spielman Center. While visiting with Kay I talked with three women who were there for treatment. One was just getting started with radiation, another nearing completion, and I was humbled by the third who told me she was in for her second go-round with the CBitch.
Talking with them renewed my hope to someday do more volunteer work with women going through the battle -- how and when, only God knows!

| Kay was diagnosed with breast cancer at the age of 80. She's now 87. Talk about an inspiration!

Laura, you look so lovely! I love your new hair color!
I wish we had time to really share . . . life-lessons. I am amazed by how much there is to learn when we listen to deep within--His voice. I am learning to NOT do what I think I want. . . more and more. So often, His ways are not our ways. . . and vice versa.
I hope this is a very, VERY joyful and meaningful CHRISTmas year for you! He is worthy of our deepest worship. I love you.
You've got a good heart:)
